Mission Teams: Annual mission trip to Mazatlán, Mexico
Relief mission trips to areas within the U.S. that have been hit by natural disasters.
Outreach Coordination Team: Dreamers, Planners / Process Management, and Implementers
Hospitality Team
Greeters: Help folks feel welcome, give them bulletins, show them where things are located, point out available seats.
Café': Pick up doughnuts before service, make coffee, set up snacks & coffee area, clean up Café' following service.
Worship Team
Instrument or Vocalist: Attend Wednesday night / Sunday morning worship practices to be ready to lead worship. Looking for folks who are proficient at their craft and have a heart to serve others faithfully.
Tech Team
Sound: will be trained to run the digital sound board to assist the worship team at Wednesday night practices and on Sunday mornings.
Projection: will be trained to run the projector to show lyrics for worship and verses during the teaching on Sunday mornings.
Live Stream / Recording: will be trained how to record and stream the video of the Sunday morning teaching for social media.
Children's Ministry
Teacher: will be trained how to prepare and teach a lesson from the Bible to children and help them learn about Jesus
Classroom Helper: will assist the teacher for snack time and crafts during the classes. (Helpers must be 6th grade or older)
Emergency Response Team: This group of people are prepared in the event of an emergency to assist others in getting to safety or providing aid in crisis situations. (fire / tornado / health emergency / etc.)
During the Week
Leader: prepares to lead a small group in a Bible Study or discussion of a shared text from the Bible. Focus is to encourage people as they follow Jesus.
Host: opens their home for others to gather, may or may not prepare a light snack (totally optional)
Youth Group
Helpers: assist the group leader in discussions and bible study, helps before and after with set up/clean up, develops friendships with the teens
Snack: prepares treats for the youth to enjoy, (brings, serves, cleans up).
Games / Fun time: prepares activities to engage the students in activities for fun and fellowship (might be an activity you enjoy).
Intercessory Prayer Teams
ALVC Prayer Chain: Receive public prayer requests via email, pray for those requests throughout the week.
Personal Prayer Ministry: Meet at church Monday evenings to pray for those who have requested a personal prayer time.Other Ministry Opportunities
Families Helping Families: (3rd Saturday morning of each month), Food pick-up & staging for event, help pack food boxes, food distribution & praying with people.
